船首倍角法は船位決定法の一種。一目標からベアリングを取った後、２倍の角度となっ たときに再度ベアリングを取る。求めた位置はEP となる。

センビトウ／ Stern light
船尾灯。スターンに設置する航海灯の一種。白色で後方から両舷に対し、それぞれ67.5度の角度から見える。前方から舷灯が見えなくなると同時に、見えるようになる角度で据え付けられている。

ソウガンキョウ／ Binoculars
双眼鏡。ナビゲーション用具として重要な器具の一つ。ヨット、ボートの上では大きな視野角と、明るいレンズが必要なので、7 倍× 50mmが望ましい。

側面標識。水源に向かって航路又は可航水域の左側、右側の端等をしめしている標識。右舷標識、左舷標識、右航路優先標識、左航路優先標識がある。
