コウカイトウ／ Navigation lights
航海灯。船舶が夜間航海に際して、必要とされる法定の灯火であり、舷灯、両色灯、船尾灯、マスト灯、停泊灯などがある。衝突を避けるために、船舶の種類と走行状態を示さなければならない。

コウコウクイキ／ Navigation area
航行区域。船舶の技術水準と安全装備によって定められた航行可能な水域。船舶安全法では航行区域を平水区域、沿海区域、近海区域、遠洋区域の4 種類に区分してい る。艇の航行区域は船舶検査証書に記載されている。
